The Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Services Support Manager to support administrative and commercial activities within an integrated workforce based out of the Air Warfare Systems Program Office. This role will act as a trusted point of contact for commercial enquiries, liaising

with stakeholders at all levels and building strong working relationships across Defence, industry and internal teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional with strong procurement, contract management, governance and stakeholder engagement experience to contribute to capability outcomes across the full commercial lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Support commercial activities across the capability lifecycle, including procurement planning, tendering, contract formation, contract management and closure.

Provide commercial advice across procurement, legal, financial and technical

areas to support sound decision-making and compliant delivery.

Assist with the development of key commercial documentation, strategies,

planning materials and governance artefacts.

Collaborate with CASG stakeholders, delivery partners and internal teams to

coordinate commercial inputs and resolve enquiries.

Support governance requirements, including planning documentation, risk

assessments, probity considerations and compliance with relevant legislation

and policy.

Contribute to team capability through mentoring, guidance and knowledge sharing

across commercial processes.

About You

You will bring experience in commercial, procurement or contract management within Defence, government or a similarly regulated environment.

You are confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels and can translate complex commercial requirements into practical outcomes.

You have strong written communication skills and can support the preparation of documentation, advice, strategies and governance materials.

You understand the importance of probity, risk management, compliance and policy alignment in procurement and contract activities.

You hold, or are able to maintain, an NV1 security clearance.

Desirable

Experience working with CASG, Defence procurement frameworks or capability lifecycle processes.

Exposure to tendering, contract formation, contract management and commercial governance within complex programs.

Strong judgement, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in an integrated workforce environment.
