HSEQ Advisor to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.

DIDO project from Brisbane to a large infrastructure project 4 hours west of Brisbane.

2/1 Roster - Camp, Meals, Bus provided.

Base Salary + Super + Uplift + Bonus

About The Role

Reporting to the HSEQ Lead, your duties will include:

• Ensuring construction sites comply with all current legislation and codes of practice
• Training and mentoring the project team
• Preparation of SWMS and JHA's
• Conducting risk assessments for projects and company
• Experienced in AS/NZS 4801:2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems
• Completion of onsite audits and inspections
• Organising site safety meetings
• Preparation of reports for management
• Systems Administration of HSEQ Software

Essential Skills and Experience

• 3 years’ experience in the Construction Health and Safety Sector
• Experience with Lucidity - highly regarded
• Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety (minimum)
• Current First aid certificate
• Current drivers licence
• Knowledge of current HSE legislation, acts, code of practice and regulations, and
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• High level of attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
• Positive attitude and approachable demeanor
