ABOUT THE ROLE

The Bays Healthcare Group is seeking a relationship-focused Business Development Manager to support the continued growth and development of our organisation.

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Team, Theatre Manager and key stakeholders, this role is responsible for strengthening relationships with our Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) and broader healthcare networks, identifying opportunities for growth, and supporting initiatives that enhance operational performance and service delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced Business Development manager or a strong clinician looking to broaden their skills and apply their healthcare knowledge in a strategic role, while developing commercial and leadership capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strengthen engagement and relationships with Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs).
  • Identify opportunities to grow theatre activity, improve utilisation and maximise theatre capacity, including filling vacant theatre lists.
  • Work closely with the Theatre Manager to support operational priorities and growth initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
  • Support business development initiatives that contribute to the ongoing success and sustainability of The Bays Healthcare Group.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clinicians and key stakeholders.

  • An interest in business growth, service development, innovation and continuous improvement.
