Key Responsibilities

Coordination & Delivery

  • Support, coordinate, or manage electrical services contractors and suppliers associated with HV and LV systems.
  • Assist with or lead the coordination of electrical works to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance.
  • Interface with other building services, infrastructure works, and modular components to ensure seamless integration.
  • Participate in site meetings, coordination workshops, and services reviews.

Design & Technical Interface

  • Support or lead coordination between electrical design consultants and construction teams.
  • Review electrical design documentation, shop drawings, and technical submissions relevant to HV/LV systems.
  • Act as a technical interface (commensurate with experience) for HV systems, including protection, control, and SCADA interfaces.
  • Contribute to design development, value engineering, and constructability reviews.

Modular & Off-Site Delivery

  • Assist with or manage modular delivery strategies, including off-site prefabrication of electrical skids, switch rooms, and plant.
  • Coordinate factory activities such as assembly, testing, and pre-commissioning prior to site delivery.
  • Support the integration of modular systems into site works and commissioning programmes.

Installation, Testing & Commissioning

  • Support or oversee the installation of HV and LV equipment including switchgear, transformers, generators, and associated systems.
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning activities in line with project requirements and safety procedures.
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Functional Witness Tests (FWT), and site commissioning activities as required.
  • Work collaboratively with commissioning teams to safely energise and bring systems into service.

Reporting, Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain records relating to site progress, testing, defects, and commissioning milestones.
  • Provide regular updates to project leadership on progress, risks, and constraints.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across services delivery.

Key Requirements (Flexible Based On Level)

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent trade qualification with relevant experience.
  • Experience delivering or coordinating electrical services on construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Exposure to HV systems (design, installation, testing, or commissioning) – level of responsibility aligned to experience.
  • Ability to coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in a site-based, fast-paced delivery environment.
  • 7+ years’ experience managing or leading electrical services on complex or large-scale

projects.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience on Data Centres, mission-critical facilities.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems, electrical protection, and control integration.
  • Experience with modular construction and prefabrication methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Australian and/or international electrical standards.
  • HV switching authorisation or relevant licensing (where applicable).
