The Opportunity
Working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for operating automated batching and mixing systems, preparing ingredients, and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards.
- Operate and monitor automated mixing and batching equipment.
- Accurately weigh and prepare ingredients according to approved recipes.
- Complete batching activities while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
- Perform product testing and quality checks throughout production.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating where required.
- Support production targets through effective equipment operation and problem solving.
- Work closely with Operations, Quality and Engineering teams to drive reliability and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure a safe, clean working environment.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing (highly desirable).
- Experience operating batching, mixing or processing equipment (desirable).
- Understanding of food safety, GMP and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following recipes and procedures.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A forklift licence and experience operating forklifts (desirable).
