About The Role

As a Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of electrical infrastructure projects across the United Energy network. This role is responsible for managing projects from tender and scope development through to delivery, financial close-out and client handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Working in a complex and highly regulated environment, you will balance commercial, technical and stakeholder requirements while managing risks, resources and subcontractors. You will play a key role in building strong client relationships, driving project outcomes and ensuring compliance with contractual, governance and network requirements.

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of electrical and power network projects, from tender development and planning through to execution and close-out
  • Own project performance across scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk, ensuring contractual obligations and client expectations are met
  • Lead project teams and subcontractors, coordinating resources and resolving complex project delivery challenges
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor project financials, forecasts and reporting, ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved while maintaining safety and quality standards

About You

You will bring strong project management experience, commercial awareness and the ability to deliver outcomes in complex operational environments. You are confident managing project scope, budgets, schedules and risks, while building effective relationships with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.

  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Power or other related discipline, along with previous power industry
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full lifecycle, including tendering, contract administration, budgeting, forecasting and risk management
  • Strong understanding of project delivery within the power, utilities, electrical infrastructure or related industry sectors
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and subcontractors while influencing clients and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
  • Proficient with project management and business systems, including Microsoft Office and enterprise project or financial management platforms
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
