Your New Role
As the Senior Technical Officer (AO4), you will be responsible for providing Tier 1 and Tier 1.5 ICT support across enterprise Microsoft environments. You will deliver both on-site and remote support, investigate and resolve technical incidents, manage ICT configurations, and contribute to the delivery of end-user computing projects. You will monitor and maintain ICT environments, create and update technical documentation, support service improvement initiatives, and provide practical guidance and training to end users. The role will also involve mentoring team members, applying IT service management processes, and ensuring service delivery meets agreed service levels and organisational standards.
What you will need to succeed
Proven experience supporting enterprise Microsoft Windows desktop and end-user computing environments.
Strong experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and ICT environment management.
Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, incident investigation, troubleshooting, remediation, and escalation.
Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL-based service management processes.
Ability to prioritise workloads, manage multiple tasks, and meet service level requirements.
Strong technical documentation skills, including the creation of knowledge base articles, procedures, and support documentation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a customer-focused approach.
Experience providing end-user training and mentoring colleagues within a support environment.
A current C Class Driver Licence will be highly regarded.
