About The Role

Are you a relationship focused communications or marketing professional who enjoys bringing partnerships to life through meaningful events, engaging content and community initiatives?

Australian Military Bank is seeking a Corporate Community Partnerships Manager to support the development and management of our strategic relationships with corporate partners, sponsors and community organisations.

Role

Partnership management

  • Support Chief Product & Marketing Officer in day to day relationship management for RSL Australia under the RSL Money brand.
  • Support Regional Community Relationship Manager in day to day relationship management for our RSL State and Legacy State partners in relation to marketing activities.
  • Support in day-to-day relationship management for our corporate community partnerships including Legacy Australia, Solider On, RSL LifeCare and Mates4Mates.
  • Support in day to day relationship management for our corporate sponsorship partnerships including Australian Defence Force Aussie Rules, Australian Defence Force Rugby, Veteran Games and Life Unleashed.Maintain a community calendar of key dates and events.
  • Support in managing the corporate partners/sponsorships budget.
  • Review sponsorship requests received via the Bank’s website and liaise with the Regional Community Relationship Manager for local area requests.
  • Support reporting on the community KPI for the corporate scorecard in conjunction with the Regional Community Relationship Manager.

Event support

  • Work with Distribution teams to support local area events and activation of corporate community and sponsorships at a local level.
  • Coordinate Bank attendance at key corporate community partnership events.
  • Work with Marketing Specialist to support corporate partnership and sponsorships events with promotional merchandise.
  • Work with Marketing Specialist to support our local area community events with brand, marketing and product materials.
  • Attend and represent the organisation at corporate and local area events where required.

Internal and external communications

  • Leverage strategic community and sponsorship partnerships for content and brand awareness.
  • Create, maintain and manage the blogs and news items section on the website relating to our corporate partnerships.
  • Coordinate internal volunteering opportunities with our corporate partnerships.
  • Manage and create content for community partnerships on our intranet site.
  • Support the development of financial literacy content for events and website content.

About You

You are an organised and confident communicator who can build positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners. You are comfortable coordinating multiple activities and enjoy turning partnership opportunities into practical and engaging outcomes.

You Will Ideally Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or a related discipline.
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in partnerships, sponsorships, communications, marketing, events or a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Confidence creating content for websites, intranets and social media channels.
  • Strong planning, organisation and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the not for profit, veteran or Australian Defence Force sectors would be advantageous.
