Salary range: Circa 90k - 120k including super (depending on experience)

We’re seeking a Senior Accountant/Manager – Insolvency to join a leading finance and restructuring team in Sydney or Brisbane office.

About the role

• Manage insolvency and restructuring engagements from initiation to completion while ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements
• Lead and support junior staff through task delegation, supervision, and review
• Conduct investigations, stakeholder interviews, and asset realisation activities in coordination with external parties
• Prepare and analyse financial models, reports, and detailed investigative findings
• Resolve complex technical matters and contribute to team knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement

Requirement

• A relevant degree or professional qualification in Business, Commerce (Accounting)
• CA/CPA/ARITA qualified or in progress of CA/CPA/ARITA pathway
• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate insolvency or restructuring in Big4, mid-tier firm, or boutique firm in Australia
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian insolvency and statutory requirements
• Confident and professional in liaising with external stakeholders, including banks, legal advisors, and other professionals
• You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia and based in Australia to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.
