AM Dockhand/Forklift Operator

Chandler Macleod is seeking a AM Dockhand / Forklift Driver with an MR Licence to join our client’s busy transport and logistics team in Morwell. This is a casual ongoing role working in a fast-paced freight environment, helping ensure freight is sorted, loaded, and dispatched safely and efficiently.

Shift Details

Monday to Friday

6 am start, minimum 4 hour shifts

Potential for longer hours and overtime going forward for the right candidate.

About the Role

You will play a key role in the daily operations of the depot, safely handling freight and assisting with loading and unloading vehicles to ensure deliveries run on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort freight for efficient routing and delivery
• Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks
• Move consignments safely within the depot
• Assist with opening, closing, and sealing trailers
• Follow all safety and operational procedures to maintain smooth workflow

About You

• Current Forklift Licence (essential)
• Minimum MR Licence (essential)
• Ability to pass a National Police Check (NPC)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or transport environment (desirable)
• Ability to safely and efficiently load/unload vehicles with a forklift
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
