Role - Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to support the commercial and contractual management of complex client engagements. Working closely with commercial, legal, sales, delivery, and client stakeholders, you will help manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, identify and mitigate commercial risks, and contribute to successful business outcomes. This is a client-facing role requiring strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and contract management expertise.

Key Responsibilities
· Support contract management activities across multiple projects, accounts, and business units.
· Collaborate with account leadership, commercial teams, and client stakeholders to understand business priorities and contractual requirements.
· Assist in identifying, escalating, and resolving commercial and contractual risks and issues.
· Support pre-award activities, including contract drafting, review, and deal-shaping discussions with sales and delivery teams.
· Contribute to the negotiation and ongoing management of client contracts throughout the contract lifecycle.
· Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Help ensure compliance with contractual obligations, commercial policies, and governance requirements.
· Work collaboratively with teams across different locations and cultures to achieve commercial objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
· Minimum 4 years' experience in contract management or commercial contract administration.
· Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles, contract terms and conditions, and risk management.
· Experience supporting contract negotiations, drafting, and lifecycle management.
· Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities across projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
· Collaborative team player with the ability to work across diverse teams and geographies.
Qualifications & Clearance
· Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
· Professional membership or certification (e.g., World Commerce & Contracting (WorldCC) or NCMA) is advantageous.
· Australian citizenship is mandatory with the ability to obtain and maintain the required Australian Government security clearance.
