About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Service Management (ITSM) Project Manager to lead the delivery of ITSM and broader digital transformation projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

The role involves managing the full project lifecycle, engaging with diverse stakeholders, overseeing governance, risk, and service transition, and ensuring successful implementation of ICT initiatives within the Digital and Cyber Security Program.

A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering complex ICT and ITSM projects in a Commonwealth or similarly complex environment is highly desirable.

Required skills and experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years' demonstrated experience delivering complex ICT projects as a Project Manager within a large and complex information technology organisation, using project management methodologies and frameworks, including PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent delivery approaches.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering the full project of a cloud-based IT Service Management (ITSM) projects or Enterprise Service Management solutions
  • Demonstrated experience leading vendor and supplier management for cloud-based ITSM or Enterprise Service Management implementations
  • Demonstrated experience managing the full project (ITSM or ESM implementation) lifecycle, including project planning, governance, risk and issue management, scheduling, budget management, procurement, vendor management, implementation, transition, and project closure.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication skills, and effective leadership skills

Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only. Candidates who currently hold or able to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances are highly desirable.
