Originating from Logan City, TapSpot utilises advanced mapping technology and AI-assisted data management to provide real-time information about park infrastructure, such as water fountains, shaded picnic areas and BBQ facilities. Our mission is to foster a healthier, more connected community by empowering users to contribute and update local facility data. By transforming park visitors into active contributors, TapSpot ensures that finding essential amenities for outdoor activities is seamless and reliable.

Role Description

This is a hybrid Volunteer Content Creator role located in Brisbane, QLD & Logan City. The Content Creator will be responsible for creating engaging written and visual content to promote TapSpots mission and services. Day-to-day tasks include researching trends and creating social media posts, collaborating with team members on content strategy and editing materials for clarity and impact. The Volunteer Content Creator will also assist in brainstorming innovative ideas to drive community engagement and promote the platform.

Qualifications

• Social Media skills including Instagram and TikTok
• Experience in Content Strategy, Research and developing compelling storytelling
• Strong abilities in Proofreading and Editing to ensure high-quality outputs (CapCut preferred)
• Proficiency in leveraging Digital Marketing tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for community engagement and knowledge of outdoor recreational spaces
• Experience with graphic design or multimedia tools is a plus
• Relevant experience or coursework in Marketing, Communication, or related fields is advantageous
