Role Description

The Facilities Manager will oversee day-to-day property and facilities activities across the assigned client portfolio, acting as the key point of contact for client stakeholders. The role will manage property-related responsibilities in line with client requirements and ensure effective delivery of facilities services. This position will be based on-site at the client’s premises.

Main Duties

 Provide Building and Facilities Management services across the client’s property portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact for landlords, contractors, service providers, and key stakeholders.

 Coordinate maintenance activities, contractor access, site inductions, work orders, and service requests to ensure timely and effective delivery of works.

 Manage Property Asset and Maintenance Plans/Schedules, ensuring accurate records, compliance requirements, and effective maintenance planning.

 Monitor contractor performance, service delivery, reporting, and communications to ensure contractual obligations and client expectations are achieved.

 Coordinate facilities management meetings, track action items, generate operational reports, and support timely resolution of property-related matters.

 Build strong stakeholder relationships by providing proactive facilities support, identifying improvement opportunities, and delivering value-added services.

 Ensure compliance with health, safety, risk management, business continuity, and organisational requirements, including statutory obligations and audit processes.

 Manage site operations by implementing best practice procedures, monitoring performance standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and achieving agreed KPIs and SLAs.

Experience

 Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Building, Business, or a related discipline, with 3–5 years’ experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or a similar environment.

 Demonstrated experience in facilities management, including contractor/vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of property services.

 Strong understanding of building systems and services, including HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems, fire protection systems, BMS, and critical environments.

 Ability to interpret commercial contracts, manage budgets, analyse costs, and support procurement activities.

 Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements, risk management, and compliance obligations.

 Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

 Experience working with facilities/property management systems and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

 Baseline Security Clearance (minimum requirement); trade background in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or related disciplines will be highly regarded.
