Location: Goomburrup – Bunbury

Hourly Rate Range: $27.75 to $37.56 (plus Super plus NFP Salary Packaging)

Employment Types: Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term until 31 January 2027

genU is looking for an enthusiastic Overnight Support Worker who can team up with our customer to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making real impact by being a support buddy to our customer through various community activities.

What You’ll Do

• Provide epilepsy management, PEG feeding, catheter care, and bowel care (highly desirable)
• Extensive experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans
• Extensive experience working with challenging behaviours
• An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities
• Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity
• Previous experience with manual handling and medication administration
• Significant personal or Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience
• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate)

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Higher [CHC33021, CHC33015, CHC43121, CHC43115]
• Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
• Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes;
• An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities;
• Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity;
• A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
