Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering Project Ceres (Perdaman) in Karratha.

Once complete, the Project Ceres Urea Plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, using some of the most sustainable production processes available. During construction, the project will create approximately 2,000 jobs while delivering long term career, training and business opportunities across Western Australia.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll play a key role in delivering one of Australia's largest industrial construction projects. From rotating equipment and pumps to compressors, gearboxes and motors, you'll help install, align and bring critical plant equipment to life.

Where your experience comes into play

  • Install and align rotating equipment
  • Install pumps, compressors, motors, gearboxes, bearings and couplings
  • Carry out laser alignment and precision mechanical installations
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and installation specifications
  • Work alongside Boilermaker Welders, Riggers and other construction trades
  • Deliver quality mechanical installations across the Project Ceres site

The experience we're chasing

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter
  • Experience on major Oil & Gas or industrial construction or maintenance projects
  • Australian recognised Mechanical trade qualification
  • Experience with rotating equipment
  • Experience carrying out Rotor Train Alignments using dial indicator and laser alignment methods
  • Experience installing pumps, compressors, motors, gearboxes, bearings and couplings
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&ID’s and Piping Isometrics
  • HRWL – EWP over 11m
