Systems Accountant | ANZ Finance Systems | Global Business

Our client is a well-established, global organisation who are now looking for a Systems Accountant to join their close-knit ANZ Finance Systems team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be the face of finance systems support for the ANZ business, while getting hands-on exposure to a genuinely global ERP transformation project.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the day-to-day support, maintenance and improvement of the ANZ finance systems landscape. You'll be the first point of contact for end users across the business, so a personable, upbeat and patient approach is essential; you'll be dealing with users of all skill levels and need to make systems support feel approachable.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day operations, maintenance and updates across the finance systems stack (ERP, reporting, automation and expense/purchasing tools)
• Owning the finance systems ticket log, ensuring queries are resolved in a timely manner
• Providing end user training, troubleshooting and general first/second line support
• Building and maintaining relationships with software vendors and technology partners
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Getting involved in mini-projects; gathering requirements, building business cases and supporting rollout activities
• Playing an active role in the ANZ implementation of a major ERP transformation project

About You

• ERP administration experience is essential; ideally with Navision or a similar mid-market ERP, but the team is open to strong ERP admin backgrounds more broadly
• Basic SQL skills are non-negotiable
• Exposure to Power BI (or a willingness to upskill in it) for reporting
• CA/CPA qualified, or working towards it, would be well regarded
• A self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously and escalating when needed, while also being coachable and keen to learn
• Someone who genuinely enjoys the people side of the role; easy to get along with, positive, and passionate about helping others
