We’re looking for a Senior Look Development Artist with a strong focus on character work to support the creation of high-quality skin textures, hair, fur, and photoreal material responses across our projects.

This role centres on crafting believable, production-ready character looks that align with creative direction and hold up across a range of lighting conditions and shots.

Working closely with Model, Groom, Lighting, Creature, and Compositing teams, you will utilise scan data, texture maps, and attribute-driven workflows to produce refined shaders and materials that deliver convincing, film-quality results within established pipelines.

This role is to be based in our Adelaide or Brisbane studios, with remote working arrangements considered within Australia.

  • Follow pipeline standards, colour workflows, and handover requirements
  • Manage tasks effectively, respond to feedback, and meet deadlines
  • Communicate progress, blockers, and risks clearly to the team
  • Support junior artists and contribute to team problem-solving
