As a Paraplanner within our Advice business, you'll provide end-to-end paraplanning support to a team of experienced financial advisers, helping deliver high-quality, compliant financial advice to members of some of Australia's largest superannuation funds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with superannuation experience who enjoys technical advice work and wants to further develop their career in financial advice.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage end-to-end paraplanning activities across Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs) and related advice documentation.
  • Support financial advisers by preparing accurate, compliant and client-focused advice documents.
  • Utilise Xplan, including XTOOLS+ and WealthSolver, to model strategies and prepare advice recommendations.
  • Work closely with advisers to develop tailored superannuation, retirement and wealth accumulation strategies for members.
  • Ensure advice documentation meets compliance requirements, internal policies and regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and apply them to advice preparation processes.
  • Manage competing priorities and turnaround timeframes while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and projects that enhance team efficiency and advice delivery outcomes.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 1-3 years' experience in a paraplanning role.
  • Demonstrated superannuation experience and understanding of advice strategies within the superannuation environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xplan, with exposure to XTOOLS+ and WealthSolver highly regarded.
  • Experience preparing SOAs, ROAs and other financial advice documentation.
  • Strong technical knowledge across key areas of financial advice.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical capability and organisational skills.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping people achieve better financial outcomes.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and evolving environment.
  • Completion of the FASEA exam is advantageous but not essential.
  • Evidence of completed relevant CPD.
  • Approved qualifications/bridging education requirements by the FAR
