The Opportunity

Join a leading financial services organisation in a role that will strengthen your portfolio legal career.

• Duration: 3-6 months
• Arrangement: Full time (hybrid)
• Location: Sydney

About You

You are a seasoned financial services lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.

Your Experience & Expertise

• Experience working in a compliance, risk, legal, regulatory or governance function
• Experience supporting, maintaining or enhancing a compliance program across a business
• Experience providing general compliance support for breach assessment or breach investigation work
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, controls and governance processes
• Experience helping to embed compliance requirements into business processes and ways of working

Your Skills & Attributes

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence providing SME support to business teams
• Practical mindset, with a focus on embedding compliance into business operations
• Strong compliance judgement and the ability to apply regulatory obligations in a practical context

Requirements

• Current Australian practising certificate
• Right to live and work in Australia
