Our newest chapter begins in Footscray in October 2026, as we expand into Melbourne’s west and build a new clinic designed to support a vibrant and growing community from day one.

Our Footscray clinic represents an exciting opportunity to help shape a new site from the beginning, support the local community, and contribute to an important step in IA’s journey.

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment, with a varied caseload and patient-centered collaborative team Our Footscray Clinic will also be home to IA’s first established PET department, making Footscray a unique opportunity to help build a service that will make a meaningful difference for our patients in the local community.

The Opportunity

This Is a Rare Opportunity To Take The Lead In Launching And Growing a Brand-new Clinic In One Of Melbourne’s Most Vibrant And Diverse Communities. As Chief Radiographer, You Will Be At The Center Of Bringing Our Footscray Clinic To Life ” Building a Strong Team, Shaping Day-to-day Clinical Operations, And Working Closely With The Operations Manager And Clinical Director To

• Build, lead, and coach, an engaged and high-performing team
• Drive clinical quality and service excellence
• Deliver an outstanding patient experience
• Ensure efficient workflow and optimal resource utilisation while maintaining high standards of patience care
• Build trusted relationships with local referrers, hospital partners and the wider healthcare community to establish Footscray as a leading imaging destination

With access to a comprehensive suite of modalities including X-Ray, CT, Mammography, MRI, PET/NM, and Ultrasound, you will play a central role in establishing the Footscray clinic, growing its reputation, and shaping the future of imaging services for Footscray and surrounding communities.

About You

You are an experienced and inspiring leader who combines exceptional clinical expertise with a passion for developing people, fostering high-performing teams and driving operational excellence. With a strong commercial mindset and commitment to delivering outstanding patient care, you will bring:

• Demonstrated leadership experience within a medical imaging environment
• Experience across X-Ray/CT, along with Mammography (desirable) and/or MRI (desirable)
• A proven ability to build, mentor and develop high-performing clinical teams
• A collaborative leadership style that promotes accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
• A strong operational and commercial acumen, with the ability to balance service excellence, productivity and quality outcomes
• Extensive knowledge of medical imaging standards, quality assurance, accreditation and radiation safety requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with Radiologists, mulit-discipinary teams and referrers.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional patient experience while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.
• Sound judgement, initiative and confident decision-making ability
• Current AHPRA registration and dedication to ongoing professional development
