How you’ll make an impact

  • Create a better technology experience for our people by leading reliable, practical and human-centred service delivery across Charter Hall’s national locations.
  • Keep the business moving with confidence by improving the resilience, stability and security of our infrastructure, cloud, workplace technology and collaboration services.
  • Use automation and smart operations to lift performance by reducing manual effort, improving visibility and helping the team focus on higher-value work.
  • Partner closely with vendors, Cybersecurity and Risk to strengthen controls, manage operational risk and make sure our technology environment is secure, scalable and ready for growth.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Future focused capabilities including self-awareness, resilience, agility and generosity.
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills, initiative and an ability to prioritise.
  • Significant experience (>10 years) leading technology operations in a multi-site organisation, with accountability for service delivery, infrastructure, cloud, workplace technology, vendors, budgets and operational risk.
  • A proven record of improving service reliability, employee experience and operational maturity using clear measures, practical standards and continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading incident, problem, change, release, request and configuration management practices in a way that improves control without creating unnecessary complexity.
  • Strong understanding of modern infrastructure and workplace environments, including cloud services, networks, identity, endpoint management, collaboration platforms, monitoring and automation.
  • Experience partnering with cybersecurity teams to embed secure operations, remediate risks and support audit, compliance, business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
  • Commercial discipline across budgets, consumption, licences, contracts, service levels and technology lifecycle planning.
  • Strong vendor management experience, including managed service performance, escalation management, contract outcomes and partner accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through ambiguity, set expectations, coach people, build capability and create a practical service culture.
