Role Description

This role is for a Business Services Manager in our Milton Qld office.

As a Manager in Business Services with Mifsud & Associates, you will be involved in providing exceptional service to our clients and providing a mentoring and quality control role to other professional members of our team.

In this role, you will be managing client's ongoing compliance obligations in addition to working with them and our colleagues to develop solutions to challenges and recommendations for opportunities.

You will be part of a client-focused team with a high standard of client service designed to not only meet, but exceed client expectations.

• Manage a portfolio of clients and provide compliance services, value-added services and ongoing support;
• Assist with management of workflow for the team including reviewing work of other team members, providing technical and professional support and guidance;
• Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, Business Activity Statements and other compliance related returns a range of entities;
• Undertake business advisory work, tax advisory and business/commercial advice and support including tax planning and business structuring;
• Liaise with clients and the leadership team;
• Seek support, guidance and advice from the leadership team on technical, professional and client related matters;
• Actively involved with the firm's leadership team with regard to practice direction and continual improvement.

About You

You will need to be a self-motivated and driven individual that is client focused and team orientated.

You will need to be a person that applies initiative and has the ability to view and evaluate scenarios from multiple perspectives with a forward thinking outcomes-based approach to problem solving.

You will be required to have a tertiary degree in accounting from a recognized Australian University and be CA or CPA qualified.

You will be required to have at least 10 years business services and/or tax experience in an Australian Accounting CA or CPA firm(s).
