Are you passionate about driving operational excellence, coaching teams, and delivering sustainable improvements in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment? CSL Behring is looking for a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to help embed the CSL Operating System (COS) and strengthen continuous improvement capability within our manufacturing (Visual Inspection & Packing) value stream.

Reporting to Director, Visual Inspection and Packing you will play a key role in advancing a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. You'll act as a subject matter expert in Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies, partnering with leaders and frontline teams to drive measurable and sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment of Continuous Improvement (CI) strategies and roadmaps aligned with site priorities.
  • Coach leaders and teams in Lean, Six Sigma, visual management, and data-driven decision making.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, problem-solving workshops, and CI initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance KPI frameworks, performance dashboards, and reporting processes.
  • Drive process standardisation, waste reduction, and operational performance improvements.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Safety, Engineering, and Operational Services teams to ensure improvements are compliant, embedded, and sustained.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Lean/Kaizen training and Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, or Operational Services.
  • Experience working within GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset, facilitation skills, and the ability to influence across multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success leading CI initiatives and using data to drive performance improvement.
