About Our Client

Our client is a leading contractor within the mining sector, delivering specialist services across major coal operations in Queensland. They are seeking skilled Electricians to support a critical longwall relocation project at Moranbah North Mine.

What You Will Be Doing

• Performing electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities associated with longwall relocation
• Disconnecting, relocating, and reconnecting underground mining equipment
• Fault-finding and troubleshooting electrical systems and components
• Testing and commissioning electrical equipment following relocation
• Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with site safety standards and procedures
• Working closely with mechanical trades, supervisors, and project teams to achieve project milestones
• Completing inspections and maintaining accurate maintenance records

What You Will Need

• Electrical Trade Qualification
• Current Standard 11
• Current Coal Board Medical
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Current Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights
• Previous longwall relocation experience
• Underground coal mining experience
