Protech are looking for experienced Underground Shotcreter to perform work with our client, located at a mine site in the NT on a 2/2 FIFO basis.

About The Role

• Hourly Pay Rate: up to $70.65
• Super on ALL Hours
• Weekly Pay (Thurs)
• Casual Contractor Position (with a chance for temp-to-perm subject to availability)
• 2/2 Roster, Week of Days, Week of Nights
• POH: Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth, or Brisbane. Fly directly to site

Key Responsibilities

• Operate shotcrete equipment to apply ground support to underground headings and excavations
• Apply shotcrete in accordance with mine plans, ground support requirements and quality standards.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Monitor shotcrete quality, coverage and thickness to ensure compliance with site specifications.
• Work collaboratively with underground mining, services and engineering teams to achieve production targets.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to a safe, clean and productive work environment.

Tickets & Experience Required

• At least 12 months’ demonstrated experience in operating underground shotecrete equipment (Essential)
• Valid Manual Driver’s License
• Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Valid & contactable references
• Strong understanding and adherence to OHS
