Our client is seeking a Store Person with a Forklift License and experience for a full time position at their business in Gladstone.

Industrial supplier focussed on welding gear, respiratory protection and workshop consumable management solutions for heavy industry.

What You Will Be Doing

Operational

• Ensure all outgoing orders, received by 2pm, are ready for shipping the same day
• Ensure all incoming orders are received by end of day
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised work environment
• Assist with customer inventory control (VMIs) as required in conjunction with Account Manager

Inventory Control

• Ensure all new stock is put away in correct locations in a timely manner, and that picking locations are kept restocked where applicable
• Support with inventory control by maintaining rolling stocktakes, minimising fulfilment errors and stock discrepancies, as well as helping identify expiring or potentially dead stock
• Ensure all stock discrepancies are looked into to determine cause

What You Will Need

Store Person Experience

Maintaining relevant knowledge of, and adhere to, WHS statutory regulations and Company policies and procedures

Maintain a current Forklift Licence

Perform safe work practices at all times, including but not limited to, controlling hazards associated with the operation of a Forklift
