Seeking an experienced Data Architect / Data Technical Lead with strong Snowflake experience to lead a major data platform program. You’ll own data modelling and Snowflake platform design patterns, including layering, historisation and load patterns, while providing hands-on technical leadership and resolving complex data challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical oversight to Data Platform team including working out any issues with the conceptual or logical models.
• Collaborate with Enterprise architect to ensure project governance and contribute to required documentation for example Data Strategy documentation.
• Report and ensure adherence to the data capabilities policies
• Strong experience with Snowflake.
• Report in to Project Manager.
• Raise any risks, dependencies and blockers with Project Manager.
• Resolve technical blockers and complex requirements with a hands on approach in collaboration with the team.
• Owns the conceptual-to-logical design and the modelling patterns the program builds to.
• Sets the shape: entities, boundaries, mastering, keys and relationships.
• Owns the design and patterns for how the model is implemented on the platform – layering, historization and load patterns.
