Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience developing enterprise backend applications using Java 11+/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
  • Proven expertise in microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, event-driven architecture, and Kafka/IBM MQ.
  • Strong knowledge of database design and data modelling, including PostgreSQL/SQL Server, SQL optimization, indexing, performance tuning, and Flyway/Liquibase.
  • Solid understanding of system design and scalable distributed architectures, including API design, security, reliability, performance, and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and CI/CD.
  • Strong testing experience with JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, and contract testing.
