Job Summary / Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Project Officer to support the delivery of strategic and corporate initiatives within a WA Government environment. Working within Corporate Strategy and Performance, you will contribute across project delivery, policy, governance, strategic planning, reporting and research while supporting improved organisational capability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate complex projects supporting organisational strategy and corporate priorities
- Develop and operationalise corporate policies and governance frameworks
- Support the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic plans and associated initiatives
- Undertake research and analysis to support strategic advice on critical organisational issues
- Develop and maintain corporate reporting, guidelines, policies, tools and resources
- Contribute expertise across governance, strategy, compliance, performance and public sector management
- Support corporate service audits and coordinate responses to audit findings
- Build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships across strategy, governance and performance initiatives
- Monitor progress against strategic and operational priorities and initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in the management and coordination of projects
- Demonstrated experience in the development of corporate policies and governance frameworks

Working Conditions
Perth CBD location with one WFH day. This is a 9-month fixed term opportunity with an immediate start available.
