Chief Executive Officer

A strategic and dynamic leader is sought for the position of Chief Executive Officer of WorkCover WA.

WorkCover WA is responsible for regulating and administering the workers compensation scheme in Western Australia under the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023. The scheme ensures workers who suffer a work-related injury or illness are compensated for lost earnings, medical expenses and other associated costs, and assists injured workers to achieve a safe and sustained return to work.

WorkCover WA plays a critical role in balancing the interests of workers, employers and insurers while supporting the broader health of the WA economy.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring strong strategic thinking, the ability to build trusted relationships and experience influencing and negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll have a proven track record of delivering strategic priorities and be a respected leader who builds high-performing teams and a positive workplace culture with integrity at the core.

This is a fixed term position for up to 5 years with a salary of $299,118.
