General Manager - Culture, People and Safety

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will:

• Shape and deliver an integrated People & Safety strategy
• Build a high-performing, engaged and values-led culture
• Partner with leaders to strengthen capability and performance
• Lead workforce planning, organisational change and succession planning
• Drive a proactive and continuously improving safety culture
• Provide strategic advice on people, risk and organisational priorities
• Lead and develop a capable People & Culture and HSEQ team
• Be a visible, approachable and trusted leader across the business

The successful candidate will be

An experienced senior leader with the ability to operate strategically while remaining connected to the day-to-day realities of the business with the following key attributes

• Demonstrated experience leading People, Culture, HR functions in a complex, operational environment, ideally also with responsibility for safety.
• Strong strategic capability and commercial judgement.
• The ability to influence and partner with senior executives and operational leaders.
• Experience leading organisational change, workforce planning and cultural transformation.
• A practical understanding of industrial relations, employment legislation and workplace risk.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary safety leadership, risk management and continuous improvement.
• A genuine passion for people and the ability to build trust at every level of an organisation.
• A leadership style that is visible, approachable, pragmatic and accountable.
