Senior Project Manager | Business Transformation

$155,000 + Superannuation + Extensive Benefits

We are supporting a well established Not for Profit organisation that is known for instilling empathy and thought in all that they do, including their own culture. This is an exciting opportunity to join a complex organisation at an important point in its transformation journey.
The opportunity
You will lead and deliver operating model transformation initiatives that will shape how the organisation works and delivers its services into the future. You will have genuine ownership of delivery and will be expected to bring structure, momentum and accountability to complex projects involving people, processes, technology and organisational change. You will lead projects from definition through to implementation, working closely with senior leaders, operational teams, technology specialists and change professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading complex transformation projects from initiation through to delivery
- Developing clear project plans, roadmaps, milestones and delivery strategies
- Translating strategic objectives into practical changes to operating models, processes and ways of working
- Managing scope, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies and project governance
- Leading cross-functional teams and bringing stakeholders together around clear outcomes
- Managing senior stakeholder relationships and providing clear, concise project reporting
- Coordinating internal teams, technology specialists and external delivery partners
- Ensuring appropriate testing, implementation and change activities are planned and delivered
- Identifying issues early, resolving roadblocks and maintaining delivery momentum
- Ensuring projects deliver sustainable outcomes and measurable business benefits
About you
The experience you need to make change:
- Experience in operating model transformation, organisational change or technology-enabled transformation will be highly regarded
- Experience using tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Miro, JIRA and Confluence is desirable, as is exposure to the Software Development Lifecycle
- A strong track record of delivering complex projects end-to-end
- Excellent project planning, governance, financial and risk management capability
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across business and technology environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent written communication and documentation capability
- The ability to establish structure and clarity in complex or changing environments
- A proactive and commercially minded approach, with a strong focus on outcomes
- The confidence to challenge constructively, make decisions and keep projects moving
- A hands-on approach and the ability to operate comfortably between strategic and detailed delivery
- Experience within the NDIS sector will also be advantageous.
