Federal Government | 6 + 6 Month Contract | Australian Citizens Only

Blackroc is recruiting an EL1 Process Improvement Specialist for a 6-month contract with a further 6-month extension within a Federal Government agency.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in improving complex service delivery processes, working across service design, business analysis and UX/UI functions to identify issues, develop practical improvements and deliver better customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Map and analyse current-state and future-state processes across complex service environments
• Conduct time and motion studies and analyse quantitative and qualitative data
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and end-user engagements to identify pain points and opportunities
• Develop evidence-based recommendations and practical process improvements
• Collaborate with Service Designers, Business Analysts, UX/UI practitioners and business stakeholders
• Support end-user testing and validation of process improvements
• Develop and maintain continuous improvement initiatives and backlogs
• Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to team members

You will have demonstrated experience in

• End-to-end process analysis, mapping and optimisation
• Data analysis and evidence-based decision making
• Workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement
• Continuous improvement and solution development
• Leading and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
• Managing competing priorities, risks, dependencies and deliverables in complex environments

Experience with Service Design, Human-Centred Design, Lean, Six Sigma, BPM or similar methodologies will be highly regarded.

This role will be offered as an initial 6 month contract and is based across Australia with hybrid Working options.
