The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Solution Lead to join a highly skilled consulting team delivering innovative solutions across operational technology, industrial systems and digital transformation programs

As a trusted advisor and technical leader, you will work closely with clients to design, develop and deliver complex technology solutions across mining, rail and energy environments. You'll provide solution leadership, mentor technical teams and play a key role in driving successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and design across Operational Technology and Industry 4.0 initiatives
• Provide technical leadership throughout project delivery lifecycles
• Engage with client stakeholders, sponsors and architecture review boards
• Support digital transformation strategies across mining, rail and energy operations
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams
• Define application, infrastructure and data requirements
• Ensure secure and scalable solution design principles are applied
• Develop architecture documentation, technical standards and solution roadmaps
• Contribute thought leadership across emerging technologies and industry trends

Key Technology & Industry Exposure

You'll have deep expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Autonomous Equipment
• Smart Maintenance
• Data Engineering & Enablement
• Digital Twin Simulation & Planning
• Industrial Communications

Exposure to technologies including:

• Mining Fleet Management Systems
• Rail Automation & Engineering Platforms
• Process Control & Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Supply Chain Planning & Scheduling Solutions
• Remote Operations, Robotics & Teleoperation
• Data Lakes, Data Warehousing & Integration Platforms
• Data Science & Application Development Solutions

What Our Client Requires

Essential

• 10+ years' experience within IT, Engineering or Operational Technology environments
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Solution Architect, Solution Lead or Senior Engineer
• Strong Operational Technology expertise within mining, rail, energy or industrial industries
• TOGAF certification, Engineering degree or equivalent professional accreditation
• Strong architecture, systems engineering and solution design capability
• Experience defining application, infrastructure and data requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven experience leading teams and influencing senior decision-makers
• Excellent documentation and technical authoring capability
