Partnering with one of Perth's more established civil contractors who've played an integral part amongst some of the cities key landmarks and developments, they are looking to bring onboard a surveyor with three years of local surveying experience, that is wanting to join a team that likes to have fun, and someone who enjoys the relationships that are built out on site. The Role
As the Surveyor managing the projects located in Perth's southern suburbs, you'll be allocated across four projects, conducting field surveys, set out works, processing surveying data, and working with engineers, supervisors and clients to support construction progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys for construction and infrastructure projects
- Set out works in accordance with design drawings and specifications
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, levels)
- Interpret engineering plans and provide clear data to site teams
- Record and process survey data accurately for reporting and design purposes
- Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and clients to support construction progress
- Ensure all survey work complies with safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum of three years local surveying experience.
- Relevant qualifications in surveying or civil engineering. (Desirable).
- Proficient with survey instruments and software (e.g. AutoCAD, 12d, CivilCAD).
- Experience using Trimble surveying equipment and technology.
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes and site operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a site based team.
- WA C Class Driver’s Licence.
