About the role

As a Reverse Mortgage Broker, you’ll manage a pipeline of warm enquiries and guide clients through the end-to-end lending process, from initial conversation through to settlement.

This isn’t a transactional sales role. You’ll be working with an older demographic, so success comes from patience, trust-building, and doing the right thing.

You Will

• Manage and convert a steady flow of inbound leads
• Educate clients on reverse mortgage products and suitability
• Prepare and submit credit proposals
• Assess financial documents, including bank statements
• Identify and manage risks (e.g. vulnerability, elder abuse, gambling)
• Maintain compliance with responsible lending obligations
• Provide ongoing communication and support throughout the process

About you

You’re a confident financial services professional who combines sales ability with empathy and strong ethics.

We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in financial services and/or sales
• Strong understanding of responsible lending principles
• Experience preparing credit proposals and handling applications end-to-end
• Excellent communication skills (phone + written)
• A patient, consultative approach with older customers
• High attention to detail and strong compliance mindset
• Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools

Desirable

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking
