Project Manager - Client Side Consultancy

Hays Construction are partnering with a highly regarded project management and advisory consultancy that have built a strong reputation delivering complex projects across the commercial, education, industrial, infrastructure and private development sectors. Known for providing strategic advice and exceptional project outcomes, they work closely with a diverse range of clients from project inception through to completion. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Melbourne team.

Your new role

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects across their full life cycle, from feasibility and planning through to design, procurement, delivery and completion. You will manage project programmes, coordinate consultant and contractor teams, oversee project budgets and reporting, and act as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

Working across multiple projects simultaneously, you will provide leadership throughout the delivery process, ensuring project objectives are achieved while maintaining strong relationships with all parties involved. You will be responsible for driving project outcomes, managing risk, facilitating decision-making, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong project delivery experience gained within a consultancy, client-side, contractor or architectural environment. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, consultants and delivery partners.

The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment. Experience delivering projects across a variety of sectors will be highly regarded, as will your ability to think strategically while maintaining a strong focus on execution. A proactive approach, strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset will be key to your success.
