Duration: 12 Months Contract

Location: Melbourne CBD

Day Rates: $55/Hr. + super

Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support data management, reporting, data quality, and analytics initiatives. You will work with large and complex datasets, develop data models, perform data analysis, and provide actionable insights to support business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, maintain, and manage enterprise data assets.
• Develop and support data reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis.
• Monitor and improve data quality through audits and validation processes.
• Perform data mapping, integration, and transformation activities.
• Support data modelling, governance, metadata management, and data standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data issues and deliver project outcomes.
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and best-practice initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a senior capacity.
• Strong SQL and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts, production databases, and Enterprise Data Warehouses (e.g., DB2, Teradata).
• Expertise in data reporting, analytics, and data exchange processes, including SAS.
• Experience with source-to-target mapping, metadata management, and data governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.

Preferred

• Experience with data modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical).
• Knowledge of data governance tools such as Aristotle.
• Previous experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments.
