Head of GMP Manufacturing - Pharmaceutical

LOCATION: Perth, WA

Boehunter Executive Search & Selection is partnering with a growing Australian pharmaceutical and medicinal cannabis organisation to appoint an experienced Head of Manufacturing – GMP Manufacturing.

This is a genuine senior leadership opportunity with responsibility across two Western Australian manufacturing operations, including a newly established GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Perth and an established regional operation approximately two hours from Perth.

Leadership of end-to-end GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing

Commissioning and scaling a new GMP manufacturing facility

Oversight of multi-site production, engineering & warehouse operations

Driving throughput, yield, capacity, COGS & operational performance

Maintaining GMP compliance, audit readiness & regulatory standards in partnership with Quality

Supporting domestic and international manufacturing & supply opportunities

We’re particularly interested in senior leaders from pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO/contract manufacturing or medicinal cannabis environments with strong GMP manufacturing expertise.

Medicinal cannabis experience would be highly regarded but is not essential.

The position is Perth-based, with regular travel to the regional manufacturing facility, and offers significant scope to help build, scale and shape the organisation’s manufacturing capability during its next phase of growth.
