Crane Mechanics| FIFO

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced FIFO Crane Mechanic for our client working on crane repairs and maintenance across mining and heavy industry projects based in Port Hedland & Newman, WA.

This role will suit a hands-on Crane Mechanic with strong experience in crane repairs and maintenance, ideally within mining, heavy industry and remote site environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance on cranes
• Diagnosing and fault-finding mechanical issues
• Completing breakdown repairs and maintenance as required
• Inspecting crane equipment and identifying potential issues
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
• Travelling between Port Hedland, Newman and Karratha areas as required

Our Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• Mandatory crane repair and maintenance experience
• Working at Heights ticket
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Own tools of trade
• HR licence highly regarded
• Previous mining or remote site experience highly regarded
• BHP induction is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work FIFO from Perth
• Willingness to travel between regional WA locations
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

What We Can Offer

• $70-$80 per hour flat rate, based on experience
• $75 per day LAHA
• Daily tool allowance
• Accommodation provided
• Work vehicle provided at depot
• Permanent FIFO position
• FIFO from anywhere in Australia
• 2:1 roster, negotiable for the right person
• Ongoing work across Port Hedland, Newman and Karratha areas
