• Lead the Perth commercial advisory function as part of a boarder network
• National coverage with established referral pathways across commercial, property, projects and disputes
• Collaborative partnership model suited to a sustainable commercial practice rather than a purist corporate/M&A only

The Opportunity

This is not your stock standard mandate for a large-cap corporate or transaction-only partner. This role will lead the Corporate/Commercial function as part of a highly integrated National Group of Partners. Sitting within the diversified practice group are sector focused leaders who offer a full client engagement service across general commercial advisory, contracting, projects and business advisory work complemented by mid-market corporate transactions.

The growth of their Western Australian Commercial offering will ideally include some regional depth to the client base as the firm highly values their own deep footprint in regional Australia nationally and values engagement outside of our major cities. This is a 'nice to have' and not essential. It maybe that deepening your own reach in regional and the underserviced Northern Territory may be of interest to you as a genuine lever to expanding your own practice and client base.

Excellent brand equity Australia wide, described by partners leaving more siloed environments over the last two years as delivering on growth goals for the firm but not at the expense of culture.

The strategy is deliberate. The MP believes in fostering long term commercial relationship with Clients at all scales that prevent 'putting 20 lawyers in a room'.

• An established Perth Commercial Partner with a sustainable client following and a growth mindset. Maybe you have seen opportunity for expansion and need the right group of Partners to support that vision.
• Trusted track record of commercial advice in W.A; both transactional and advisory is ideal
• Collaborative and commercially pragmatic, with an interest in building through cross-referrals, national relationships and shared client opportunities rather than operating within a siloed practice.
