Broadband Device Tester

We are looking for a Broadband Device Tester to support the qualification, validation, and performance testing of WiFi mesh products, smart modems, gateways, boosters, and CPE devices. The role involves interoperability, firmware, connectivity, regression, stability, and performance testing across consumer networking devices, working closely with engineering, product, and vendor teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform WiFi/WLAN, mesh, modem, gateway, booster, and CPE testing, including device interoperability and validation.
• Execute end-to-end mesh, connectivity, roaming, failover, and reconnection testing.
• Conduct firmware upgrade/downgrade, regression, sanity, stability, and performance testing.
• Validate 2.4GHz/5GHz bands, WPS, WiFi channels, client connectivity, throughput, coverage, and roaming behaviour.
• Analyse device logs, troubleshoot issues, capture test evidence, and support root-cause analysis and fix validation.
• Raise and manage defects using JIRA, with clear reproduction steps, logs, and test results.
• Work with product, engineering, and vendor teams and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Support hands-on testing in lab environments involving modems, boosters, gateways, and mesh equipment.
