Wishbone is the newest concept from Lucas Collective, the group behind some of Australia’s most iconic restaurants, bringing the energy of Hong Kong’s street food culture and neighbourhood diners to Melbourne’s CBD.

Think bold flavours, quality ingredients, a buzzing atmosphere and genuinely great hospitality - all brought together in a fast-paced new dining experience with plenty of personality.

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for passionate

Wok Chefs to join Wishbone's opening team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new kitchen from day one, work alongside experienced industry professionals and help shape the food and dining experience at one of Melbourne’s newest venues.

What You'll Bring

  • Must demonstrate at least 1 year Wok experience in an a la carte environment.
  • Asian cuisine knowledge is highly regarded.
  • Experience in high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods.
  • Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of food safety standards.
  • Willing and able to work rotating roster that includes weekend and public holiday.
  • Full availability Friday, Saturdays and Sundays.
