Automation Tester with AWS

Role: Cloud Integration Test Analyst

Location: Melbourne

About the role: Our new Cloud Integration Test Analyst will involve collaborating with developers, solution architects, integration engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure robust and reliable integration solutions. You will plan, execute, and track unit/integration test plans to meet business requirements. In addition, you will engage with stakeholders to

understand and translate business needs, ensuring seamless operation of cloud-based systems and applications.

About You

• Must have 4+ years’ experience successfully working as a Cloud Integration Tester specifically within an AWS integration environment
• Demonstrated experience in API test automation using tools like Postman/Newman.
• Experience working with AWS services, including Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, CloudWatch Logs, S3, and API Gateway, within serverless architectures.
• Must be familiar with API testing practices and comfortable working with Postman/Newman test suites, including reading and understanding JavaScript-based test scripts and test results. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, common authentication methods, JSON and XML data structures, and how systems interact through API- based integrations.
• Established experience working with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, or similar.
• Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases, particularly for integration platforms and solution s.

Highly Desirable Skills and Experience

• Understanding of common integration patterns and enterprise integration concepts.
• AWS certification such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (highly desirable)
