Onboarding Specialist

Onboarding & Payroll Specialist | Melbourne | SaaS

We’re working with a fast-growing construction technology SaaS business looking for an Onboarding & Payroll Specialist to join its customer operations team.

This is a genuinely customer-facing role where you’ll own the onboarding journey from setup through to go-live, while also developing expertise across payroll configuration and systems.

What you’ll be doing

• Own end-to-end customer onboarding and implementation

• Configure and test payroll rules and integrations

• Train customers and keep onboarding projects on track

• Manage multiple customer relationships and resolve issues

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows

• Use AI regularly to improve efficiency and execution

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years’ experience in SaaS onboarding, implementation or customer operations

• Proven experience personally running customer onboardings

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Comfortable working with systems, data and configuration

• Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy

• An active and confident user of AI tools

Bonus: Payroll systems, workforce management, construction/field services or startup/scale-up experience.
