Our Client

Our client is a global investment bank advising on complex M&A and capital markets transactions, including cross-border mandates. The firm wish to appoint an Analyst / Associate to their prolific Nat Res coverage team.

The Opportunity

A hands-on role offering direct involvement across the full m&a transaction lifecycle from origination through to execution. Working closely with senior bankers you will lead financial analysis and drive transaction workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and sensitise financial models and valuations
• Prepare pitches, presentations and transaction materials
• Analyse companies, industries and new transaction opportunities
• Drive transaction execution and due diligence
• Advise on client solutions alongside senior bankers

About You

You will bring:

• 3+ years’ M&A or valuation experience within investment banking or corporate advisory
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Advanced financial modelling, accounting and valuation skills
• Strong commercial judgement and analytical capability
• The ability to deliver under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Initiative, leadership and a collaborative approach
• Excellent communication skills and professional integrity
• An understanding of global capital markets and cross-border M&A
