The opportunity

Since our inception in 2012, Lawson Delaney (part of the Lawson HR Group) has steadily built its business and brand to become synonymous with high-touch, high-quality recruitment. We're proud to be the go-to firm for our clients in the professional services community, and our commercial recruitment team serves its industry clients to the same standard.

We're growing, and to keep up with that growth we're looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to take on an established qualified accounting desk. This is a desk with long-standing client relationships and a referral network that already flows, sitting inside a brand that qualified accounting candidates and clients in Melbourne already know and trust.

About You

You're a proven recruiter with agency experience in qualified accounting or an adjacent finance market. More specifically, you:

• Have run your own desk and can talk us through your billings, your market and how you built your client base
• Are equally comfortable servicing an established desk and winning new business — tell us about a client you brought in and what it was worth
• Treat your desk like your own business, with a genuine focus on delivering high-quality work
• Bring professionalism, emotional intelligence and relationship-building expertise, and the grit to help build a team rather than just run a desk
