You’ve built client relationships, won advisory work and led complex energy engagements. This opportunity brings those strengths together: grow a power advisory practice while helping clients make commercial decisions across Australia’s electricity transition.

Uplift Recruitment is partnering with an energy markets business seeking a Director for its Commercial Advisory practice.

The business combines advisory, market intelligence and transaction support. You’ll work across these capabilities to help renewable generation and storage developers, investors and electricity buyers turn market insight into commercial outcomes.

Your focus

• Originate and convert advisory opportunities through new and existing client relationships.

• Lead engagements covering commercial strategy, asset value and project commercialisation.

• Help shape bankable offtake arrangements and long-term commercial partnerships.

• Grow the advisory offering and contribute to its market intelligence tools and frameworks.

What you’ll bring

• Significant commercial consulting experience within a Big Four, mid-sized or large consulting business.

• Deep energy markets expertise, with the Director brief seeking 10+ years in Australia’s National Electricity Market.

• A demonstrated record of winning consulting work and growing client relationships.

• Experience building and leading a consulting practice.

• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to lead delivery and communicate with senior stakeholders.

Experience in Western Australia’s Wholesale Electricity Market would be well regarded.
