They're looking for someone with a strong creative eye who can take ownership of the visual direction of the brand, bring fresh ideas to the table and lead the creative output across both digital and physical customer touchpoints.
The role & day-to-day
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll take ownership of the creative direction while leading a small in-house team.
Your day-to-day will be varied, combining creative strategy, hands-on direction, team leadership and campaign production.
You'll be:
- Planning and directing campaign photoshoots, from creative concepts and styling through to final imagery and delivery.
- Coordinating regular eCommerce, social and website shoots, ensuring fresh, on-brand content is consistently being produced.
- Working closely with photographers, stylists, content creators and external production teams to bring campaigns to life.
- Leading and mentoring the team across EDMs, graphic design, social media assets and digital advertising.
- Reviewing and approving creative work to ensure everything aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel.
- Working alongside the eCommerce, marketing and buying teams to plan upcoming campaigns, promotions and product launches.
- Overseeing website creative, digital display advertising, weekly promotional EDMs and loyalty program assets.
- Reviewing competitor activity and aspirational fashion brands to identify opportunities to evolve the brand's visual direction.
- Getting involved in packaging, promotional materials, in-store creative and wider brand projects.
What they're looking for
They're looking for someone who understands fashion, has a strong aesthetic eye and knows how to translate that into compelling campaigns and brand imagery, while being hands on.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Previous experience in a creative leadership, creative management within fashion, apparel or footwear.
- A strong understanding of fashion branding, visual identity, styling and current trends.
- Experience conceptualising and directing photoshoots, including campaign and eCommerce production.
- The ability to lead, guide and develop junior creative or design team members.
- A good understanding of digital creative across websites, social media, EDMs and paid advertising.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders, marketing and eCommerce teams, as well as external creative partners.
- A hands-on approach, with the ability to balance the bigger creative picture with the detail of getting things delivered.
This could suit an established Head of Creative or Creative Manager, or a strong fashion-focused creative ready to take the next step into a broader leadership position.
What's on offer?
- Melbourne-based, full-time office position.
- 12-month maternity leave contract, commencing January/February 2027. (Potential to extend)
- Approx. $130k–$140k base, depending on experience.
- Lead and develop an in-house creative team.
- Direct exposure to senior leadership with genuine ownership of brand direction.
- Potential for longer-term opportunities across the wider group and its other fashion brands.
- A fast-paced, collaborative environment without unnecessary corporate layers.
